As the world's largest home improvement specialty retailer, we know a thing or two about global success. The Home Depot offers a variety of jobs geared towards students and recent grads including but not limited to: Internships, Project Analysts, Staff Accountants and more. Who utilizes technology like the First Phone (which garnered one million POS transactions in less than three months)? We do. And we need your educational background in computer technology to help us maintain our position as industry leaders. Our IT internships are competitive, but if selected, you'll have the unique opportunity to work side-by-side with IT professionals who can teach you the skills to advance your career.
If you're a creative person who also happens to be a strategic thinker, then a Merchandising internship is the perfect challenge for you. For 10-12 weeks, you'll cultivate leadership skills while designing and implementing projects to be used in real world applications. Best of all, you'll have the chance to share your ideas with senior management. Now, how cool is that?
You're a thinker and a doer. And, you're pretty efficient while doing it. So how about an internship with The Home Depot's Supply Chain and IPR (Inventory Planning & Replenishment)? Help people get what they need, when they need it by increasing the effectiveness of our Rapid Distribution Centers, Stocking Distributions Centers, Bulk Distribution Centers or Direct Fulfillment Centers.
How lucky was I to get to spend the summer of 2013 interning and learning about Home Decorators Collection, an exclusive brand of The Home Depot? I loved every minute of my internship at HDC. A few highlights include working on projects for the holiday campaign, listening to executive leadership speak, flying to Chicago to watch a photo shoot and best of all meeting and working with some of the most inspirational people in the industry.
